
Steinunn Thorarinsdottir
Steinunn Þórarinsdóttir (b. 1955) is an Icelandic sculptor. Her work uses androgynous human figures such as those in her most notable exhibits Borders and Horizons. Steinunn has been working professionally for over 20 years and has exhibited widely in Europe, Japan, USA and Australia. Her works are in private, public and corporate collections around the world. She works in various forms of sculpture and uses many different materials for her artistic expression. Her works can be found in the City of Rekjavik, the National Gallery of Iceland, the Monument in Sandgerði, the Akureyri Art Museum, and many other places around the world.
