The layout unfolds in two connected living areas — a generous great room and a smaller adjoining sitting room — before opening into a kitchen sized for actual cooking and a formal dining room built for a table that seats more than four. Art With Actual Dallas Roots

The work throughout Home 2401 is by Steve Lawrence, a Dallas native who studied art history in Rome and photography and gross anatomy before turning to art production full time. He’s shown work at benefits for the Dallas Museum of Art, DIFFA, Bryan’s House, and Kitchen Dog Theatre — Dallas art-world credentials that match the building’s location a few blocks from the DMA and the Nasher.
