What’s New This Spring in the Dallas Arts District

Spring is easily one of the best times to live in the Dallas Arts District. The weather is good, the event programming is excellent, and the neighborhood — already one of the most culturally active in the country — has a full calendar to prove it. If you’ve been looking for a reason to finally explore everything within walking distance of HALL Arts Residences, this is a good place to start.
Timeless Art Inside the Best Arts District in the Country
Roy Lichtenstein at the DMA & Nasher Sculpture Center
This spring, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center are doing something extremely rare and exciting: jointly presenting a major shared acquisition. The Roy Lichtenstein Foundation gifted more than 50 works — prints, drawings, sculptures, maquettes — to both institutions as part of a centennial celebration of the artist’s life. The DMA’s presentation continues through July 5th; the Nasher’s continues through October 24th.
It’s a genuinely significant moment for Dallas — the kind of acquisition that puts both institutions on the map in a new way. And for HALL Arts residents, both venues are a short walk away.

Rauschenberg Sculpture at the Nasher — Through April 26
Also, at the Nasher through late April: Rauschenberg Sculpture, a focused look at a Texas native who remains one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. If you haven’t been yet, the Renzo Piano-designed galleries in spring are worth the visit on their own.
The Dallas Art Fair Returns April 16–19
Now in its 18th year, the Dallas Art Fair is back at the Fashion Industry Gallery from April 16–19. This year’s lineup brings together galleries from more than a dozen countries alongside a strong showing of Texas-based exhibitors — and several returning galleries have expanded their booth presence, which tends to signal a healthy collector’s market.
Whether you go with a serious eye toward collecting or just want to spend a Saturday morning looking at compelling work, the fair is one of those weekends that makes Dallas feel like a major city. It also happens to be a few blocks from home.

Dallas Arts Month
April is Dallas Arts Month, and the district’s institutions lean into it. Classic performances like Swan Lake and Kinky Boots at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, keep the energy centered in the district, while immersive experiences like Video Art Night 2026 at the AT&T Discovery District — just a short walk outside the Dallas Arts District — show how the celebration extends beyond its borders. It’s a reminder that the neighborhood’s 118 acres of Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning architecture isn’t just something to admire — it’s meant to be experienced.
Living Here This Spring
HALL Arts Residences was designed to put you at the center of all of this — not in an abstract sense, but literally. The DMA, the Nasher, the Winspear, the Wyly, the Art Fair venue: all walkable. The 28-story tower offers floor-to-ceiling views of the skyline and some of the most celebrated architecture ever built, while the homes themselves feature a level of design and detail rarely seen at this price point.
Only 10 homes remain, including residences from the Masterpiece Collection on floors 20–25 and the penthouses — Gallery, Canvas, and the Sky Terrace penthouse coming soon. Spring is the perfect time to schedule a private tour and see them for yourself.
